A wedding is one of the most difficult photo assignments. The wedding photographer must not only be technically proficient, but skilled at working with people as well. I take great pleasure and pride in working collaboratively with couples to make a beautiful photographic record of their wedding day. Ultimately, your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Before the wedding, we will meet to discuss your ceremony and reception plans and your preferences for photographic composition and style.  When it is feasible, I will visit the wedding site(s) prior to the wedding to scout out appropriate locations to take photos.  I study the lighting and backgrounds, and I look for unique photographic opportunities. I love to take the occasional whimsical photo. I’ll use mirrors, water, etc. to create an unusual image.  I work very hard to prepare before your wedding, so the day will go as smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

At the event, my mission is to capture the spirit of your big day and the unique qualities of your friends and families. I want to create the best possible picture story of your wedding. I strive to capture every important moment of your big day, while remaining completely unobtrusive. I believe that a good photographer can get the important shots without having to tackle the bride's grandmother in the process!

As a professional photographer with 18 years behind the lens, I am comfortable shooting both color and black-and-white film in any setting and have an experienced compositional eye. Using sophisticated cameras and lenses, I will photograph a combination of formal, candid, color, and black-and-white shots to suit your preference and taste.  Be at ease.  You are in good hands.

After the wedding, I will create a proof book album, which includes all the wedding pictures.  As you turn the pages of your album, a story will unfold, and the memories of that wonderful day will come flooding back. If you wish, you may select your favorite shots and order reprints, enlargements, and additional albums for family and friends.

I limit the number of weddings that I do per year. I don't want to overextend myself. I want to focus on the wedding at hand and devote all my energy to that particular couple.

I believe you will be pleasantly surprised by my prices. The wedding business is fraught with photographers, florists, and caterers who overcharge. Am I making money? Sure I am! But I'm not charging an arm and a leg. You'll get an excellent product, AND you'll have some money left over for your honeymoon!
